Energy & Debt Crisis Point To Much Higher Metals Prices

The fundamentals are showing us more people are getting into the metals, even though the price doesn’t show it.  And the energy situation, it continues to get worse. So with the massive amount of debt now on the system, it’s going to be hard for the establishment to continue business as usual.

I sat down with Mike Gleason from Money Metals ExchangeI provided an update on the silver market and how bad the situation was in the U.S. Energy Sector.  Unfortunately, most precious metals analysts and investors disregard what is taking place in the energy industry.  This will be extremely detrimental as there are more important things to understand than just the rise in the precious metals values.

  1. They are finding new more efficient ways of producing energy, a miner that i hold has pioneered technology that has reduced energy costs by some 30%.
I don’t think this will end any time soon?

    • Evidently you are new to this site. 30% won’t cut it. You’d need more like a 1000% reduction. Conventional oil production has essentially flat-lined since 2005.

One of the most amazingly negative developments is to see how effectively the mainstream media has convinced everyone that “all is well” in the energy industry and how “technology will save us all”.

The EROI of oil and coal production is dropping like a rock all over the world. The magnitude of the drop will overwhelm any piecemeal technological increase in production efficiency.

Well Rob…I agree with most of what you said except about oil….Saudi Arabia and Iran, Iraq and the other oil Arab States are sitting on a sea of oil…manipulating the price…They want to break America’s back by preventing the U,S, from paying down it’s enormous debt with “PETRO” dollars….As for the media: It has been and will be manipulated by a treasonous President…This Guy wants the U.S. in the most turmoil he can stir up to advance the MUSLIM KILLER AGENDA in the U.S. No it is NOT a radical statement…If you read this BOOK written authored by Obama you would know that…..Production has peaked and is declined in the U.S. The Pipeline has been stalled to death…Obama has killed oil exploration on Government lands and is buying up or stealing more lands to prevent oil exploration and production…This President has added 7 to 8 trillions of debt to the national debt register and spends Billions on pet projects and Millions on vacations…All part of the plan to bankrupt the U.S. He has embarrassed us all over the world with his insane and unjustified apologies for the only country who has sustained and protected the world against fanatics and despots….This President has and is committing treason…The U.S. is paying the price in every way possible in energy production to insane SOCIAL issues that are immoral and meant to destabilize the U.S. and destroy Ethical Values…..The Media is a mouth piece for a corrupt and unethical, immoral President…Who’s sole intent is to destroy America……

    • Sea of oil? You mean that they pump seawater into their conventional fields to extract a few years of extra BAU?

    • It looks that some still believe the system is great, just run by idiots, fools and nasty peopl
Immoral ? Just look at the world created by money and competition as the primary relationships with humans : 21th century america is just the logical result…

  3. In the meantime comex is striking a 9th session in a row of losses for gold.
Another one tomorrow should celebrate the OTC comex expiration.
Still interested to see what the “Shangai gold fix is going to blow the comex” crew has to say : the level of nullity from BRICS leaders is purely incredible. Wonder whether the very orthodox Putin after having repudiated his “old” wive for a 25 young gymnast chick (kid born in zurich clinic) will be able to deliver ?

  4. MR. St.Angelo
PLEASE EXPLAIN WHY THE SILVER ROCKET SHIP IS FORCING A HUGE CRATER
IN THE EARTHS SURFACE (GOING THE WRONG WAY)
WAS ALMOST $18 NOW DOWN TO (AS I WRITE) $15.92
ALL YOUR WRITINGS MEAN NOTHING, THEY CAN TAKE THE PRICE
    ANYWHERE THEY WANT.
SO WHY NOT WAIT UNTIL THE WORLD ECONOMY COLLAPSES, THEN WRITE SOMETHING.
BECAUSE WHATEVER YOU SAY WITHIN A MANIPULATED MARKET IS A COMPLETE
    WASTE OF TIME.

LoL…you are a very short term investor. Perhaps you should pay for professional advice before making investment decisions. You should also see a shrink while your at it.

    • Medium to long term fundamentals Paul, wake up.

  5. Funny how shitcoin takes off just as real money goes into a short seller fueled correction. It’s almost as if shitcoin was invented to siphon off alternative investment clownbux from real money.

I love the argument that algos will just continue to make shitcoin harder to “mine”, thereby insuring that shitcoin will become scarcer and always have value. Bwahahaha, can you say fad?

Their next ponzi rationalization parlor trick is to convince you that only those lacking the intellect to grasp blockchain “technology” will ridicule shitcoin. Shitcoin is the money of mensa, but if it ever goes 1:1 with an oz of gold again, take the metal.

    • shitcoin is used to export money outside china and its boder controls.
you cannot with gold so shitcoin is better for chinese millionaire
