More evidence of the absurdity called “Green Renewable Energy” occurred last month as 90 Mitsibushi wind turbines were demolished in New Mexico. Thus, the BIG JOKE is that Renewable Energy is really Non-Renewable as a large percentage of old wind and solar power units end up in landfills.
First… IMPORTANT UPDATE: I had originally planned to provide a Metals & Market Update for the Silver & Gold Members today, but my wife and I were up all night with one of our beloved dogs who past-away earlier today. So, I will provide that update in a few days. Furthermore, YES… I am still working on the Gold Member Part 2 of the Late Bronze Age & Modern High Tech Global Collapse Video presentation. I apologize for this taking longer to post, but the data and information are quite interesting, to say the least.
Secondly, I continue to find more and more evidence showing just how NON-RENEWABLE Green Energy really is and why it’s not an Energy Savoir. According to the What’s Up With That article, When wind turbines are no longer useful: They get explosive demolition:
Controlled Demolition, Inc. (CDI) of Phoenix, Maryland, USA (acting as Explosives Design and Performance Subcontractor to Main Demolition Contractor, Dallas Demolition of Houston, Texas who was working for RiverCap Ventures of Rocky River, Ohio, the General Demolition Contractor) performs the successful explosives felling of 90, Mitsubishi 1000A Wind Turbines in New Mexico.
No effort was made to preserve foundations or other wind farm infrastructure. CDI’s crew felled the 90 Units in two (2) mobilizations to the site, permitting the Wind Farm Owner to complete salvage of blades and drive-train elements from some of the wind turbines to provide replacement parts for similar Units they operate at other wind farm locations. The Units were safely felled, exactly per plan, and ahead of schedule.
If you read the BOLD text from the article above, NO EFFORT was made to preserve the foundations or other wind farm infrastructure. While some blades and wind turbine parts were savaged as replacement parts for other wind farms, a large percentage of the wind scrap made it to the landfill.
According to this article, MHI wins largest ever wind turbine order; Mitsubishi provided the 1000A Wind Turbines for the Aragonne Mesa Wind Farm that was erected at the end of 2006 and early 2007. So, it seems that these Mitsubishi Wind Turbines and blades only had a 14-year lifespan… LOL. I read that GE has a contract to install new 145 MW larger wind turbines to replace the (90) 1 MW Mitsubishi wind turbines that were, again, only 14 years old.
Here is a short video of the controlled explosive demolition of these 90 RENEWABLE WIND TURBINES;
What is going to happen to the GE Wind Turbines that are installed this year to replace the Mitsubishi models in the next 15 years?? Any guesses?
IMPORTANT ENERGY VIDEO PREVIEW:
As I had mentioned, I ordered and read the book, TOO MUCH BY HALF: The Coming Cut In Proved Oil Reserves and will do a video update on that. I will also discuss this chart below, which shows the MAJOR OIL COMPANIES are cutting reserves… and this is just the beginning. Thus, we are going to head over the ENERGY CLIFF with most of the world totally clueless.

You are a great man Steve, sorry about the the loss of your beloved pet.
Yes, sincere sympathy. Our pets are family. If it’s any consolation, I cling to the thought that Heaven will not be Heaven if we don’t find our furry friends there waiting for us someday alongside other loved ones.
I read that article earlier last week and the explanations given baffled me. The way the towers were felled, I’d have to assume few blades were salvageable.
You receive the impression legal issues surrounding the property might have been the impetus to “salvage.”
I haven’t read the book you mentioned other than the cover as advertised on Amazon.
While I can’t speak to how extensive seismic analysis might provide clues as to the globe’s reservers, but when I saw the two-thirds number, I began to think a global energy wall hits about 2025 and not necessarily 2028-2030.
I ll send some love to Your family Steve.
Thanks a lot Steve,
Vivid display of the ‘renewables’ reality.
Sincere condolences for the loss of your dog.
First and foremost my condolences for the loss of your loved one Steve , and yes Fluffy animals are in heaven it’s in the bible and I am absolutely sure ours will be there too . I seem to have a very real bond with those on the other side it’s something I was born with and I only connect through prayer otherwise you may be communicating with something else.
But to the matter at hand in my opinion sustainable energy such as solar panels should be provided at a deep discount say almost free to all homeowners and I once read an article about roads built with solar panels with easily replaced panels all detectable from a mainframe computer so they know to replace . Just a thought .
Babcock & Brown, one of the largest developers and owners of wind power in the USA ….. who owned this project, is as bankrupt as Solyndra…..
How is it the towers and foundations have zero intrinsic value?
travissidelinger,
That’s because the new GE Wind Turbines are rated at 2.3 MW, so they only need 60 units at 145 GW power instead of 90 units rated at 1 MW. Thus, the spacing is now different. So, all the infrastructure is worthless… LOL.
steve
You are right, Steve.
Just an uneducated guess, but this proves that the whole wind power thing is a sham. Why can’t they just replace the units with ones of the same size? Why can’t they just change out the generators and propellers and use the “old” foundations, towers and grid? The planners didn’t plan for this eventuality? Ya mean that the high priests of “Sustainability” didn’t build a sustainable wind farm? I am aghast!
Perfect example of a government or quasi-government project, i.e. built with subsidies, and not meant to be remotely economical. When the stage play is over, just tear it down. Losses go to the tax payers, profits go to the government employees (as wages for shuffling paperwork), contractors and insiders.
Steve,
Sincere condolences to your little buddy who passed away.

Ha! That made my day. I think I climbed exactly half of those in 2009 or 2010. The dates line up. We did an End of Warranty inspection sweep. I kind of liked the Mitsubishi 1000s, simple design. Man, they were pigs though. They had a gearbox problem and had to replace every gearbox – yet in the process, spilled gearbox oil down every damn tower and had not cleaned it up. As I climbed the ladder, oil was literally dripping on my face from the rungs above. We almost turned down the job (turbine fires bad).
Yeah, the GE 2.3MW will have a much bigger foundation for a much larger tower. Add the underground collection system to that infrastructure needing replacement. All that cabling has a finite useful life as well.
GE has done a lot of Repower across the US. Repower is a retrofit that increases blade size and rotor diameter, along with other necessary sub-assemblies that make it possible. Yet the foundation, towers and cabling remain. Even then, the foundations have to be ‘recertified’ that they can last a few more years.
Anyway, thanks Steve. Enjoy seeing the demolition of wind turbines. Up that tower Muley Dawg!
