According to Professor Jiang, who forecast in 2024 that Donald Trump would win the Presidential Election and that the U.S. would enter into a war with Iran, who does he forecast will win this war?
If you watch the video, you will hear his prediction based on using Game Theory. While it does seem that the U.S. and Israel have certainly destroyed most of the Iranian Navy and a great deal of military sites and equipment, Iran has basically shutdown the Straits of Hormuz with a stunning 84-90% decline in ship traffic in just the past few days.
I would enjoy hearing your comments and opinions on the video interview below.

This will be a pure catastrophe.
Yeah, well when these maniacs in the west have their backs to the wall at the behest of that madman in Israel – A nuclear bomb will fix it! 💣
BTW, in my rural town, diesel jumped from AUD$1.97Ltr to AUD$2.19Ltr overnight.
That is: AUD$7.45GLN to AUD$8.28Gln
Talk about pump price gouging!!!
RO, my friend, who is ‘that madman in Israel’ whom you think controls the ‘maniacs in the west’? Do you refer to the Israeli prime minister?
If so, please help me understand how we come to have such wildly divergent narratives.
As a Jew with a biblical moral foundation and who has tried to keep decently informed on these matters, I find that I find myself shocked and dismayed upon seeing the rise of the ‘Jews control the west and seek a greater Israel empire and genocide of their neighbors’ narrative. Of course, that may not even remotely be your view, and if that is the case, I certainly apologize.
But surely we can do better than to deal in such inflammatory, preaching-to-the-home-team talking points as those, which I think are easily shown to be at best doubtful in light if the available evidences.
Well, LittleSteve, with great respect, I made no reference to the “Man’s” race or religion.
It could be any MAN!!!!!!
Respectfully to Jiang’s fans, I think his analyses are highly deficient on many fronts.
As far as Jiang’s great prognosticatory feats, the first two (that Trump would win the 2024 election and that during his term the US would be at war with the Islamic Republic of Iran) were low hanging fruit, within easy reach even of the wokesters. But as for his third prediction (that the US will lose to Iran)… that seems so unlikely, where to begin?
Petrodollar? There never really was any such thing, and anyway there certainly isn’t any ‘USD-only oil exchange’ at this time for any war to disrupt.
Iran currently bombarding the gulf states and Israel? Not so much, actually.
Regime change practically impossible for the US to accomplish? The proposition itself begs the question, ‘is that the goal’? I think the goal is far more nuanced and involves a broader strategic play to turn key China allies toward western interests; the US does not intend to bring about regime change in Iran… if the Iranian people bring that about, very well then; but if they do not, then the result will still likely be a more pliable and less dangerous Iran.
Since 1979, the IRGC and the mullahs have been declaring ‘death’ to the US and to Israel, and these evil actors have directed their resources toward that end all over the world. It is high time that those they wish to target put an end to the real and present danger, especially seeing as Iran’s military capacity had been growing even more threatening and Iran also represented an important strategic ally to China, which in some ways represents the more general world wide threat.
Well said. This is Chinese propaganda. The U S is arming the Kurds to be their boots on the ground. The Iran regime is done as it should be. No other president has had the balls to deal with it.
Good Lord … this man simply carpet bombed the entire sham theater of this latest “war” and its profiteers. To call the US stock market a ponzi is dead on. Then, to ensure that his job was complete, he dropped H-Bombs over targets including: Trump, The Illuminati: The Vatican (Jesuits), Sabbatean Frankists (Control Israel) The Freemasons (National Security of the USA). All accomplished in 15 minutes. Well done.
Well, I wasn’t around during WW1 and WW11, those who were, had to decide which narrative they believed in, the narrative of Churchill, or the narrative of Hitler.
However, I am now in the position of having to make a similar decision on whether to believe either Netanyahu or TRUMP – I don’t believe either and it has nothing to do with Race or Religion.
I certainly believe world events are moving towards the end when Jesus will return. Whether or not these shadowy groups and government officials are actively working towards it, I have no idea.
‘Regime Change’ is, at this point, the stated objective by DJT. Influence: Zionists and Neocons, with which he has surrounded himself. Regime Change has a history of failure. Regime Change in Ukraine ousted the legitimately elected head of state, resulting in the prevailing of the Bandera Nazis, which proceeded to strike the Russian speaking population of the Donbas, moving the potential NATO incursion to the Russian border. This created an existential threat for Russia. Regarding countries (Arab) in the Middle East, Iraq and Lybia are examples. The head of state was removed, the ‘regime change’ was, in fact, an unleashing of chaos. In Afghanistan, the Taliban were ‘regime changed’ only to return and again run the country. Regime Change in S.Vietnam (Diem) ultimately failed. Regime change in Iran (1953) resulted in an emperor (the Shah) leading to suppression of dissent. The result was the theocracy. I could go back two centuries, listing regime change failures and the chaos which followed. There are no successes. I’ll end the comment here, it merely scratches the surface.
Around 2010-2012, I was involved in many technical AI projects at my Dutch University. I was targeted by many Iranian students who wanted to work with me. Some even brought their own scholarships. I interviewed a few and studied their CVs. These were very smart and highly educated students. Many with very strong operating system (read hacking) skills, others with strong applied physics skills. The interviewees were overly confident and arrogant, similar to some Israelis I’ve met. At some point, I had the impression that they were open to bribing me. (“We can make this very worthwhile to you”).
It stopped overnight when I indicated I did not need technical competence (which I already have), but strong conceptual thinkers in cognitive science.
In the same period, my students participated in RoboCup at Home, an international educational activity with a strong participation from Iran. My students participated multiple times in Iran (and sometimes won), but the Iranians were on par at least.
I’m sure that many of the applicants and those who competed against my students contributed to Iran’s missile and other defense development programs. I always worked in fields adjacent to military technology (we even use some obscure signal technology developed in military labs in the 1970’s, that was never officially disclosed, but was used in some obscure master’s theses in the nineties). And I helped develop underwater movement detection based on the fish lateral line. Ideal to detect swimmers or submarines in shallow water. I know some of the limits and features of military technology.
My point is that Iran is not technologically backward. On the contrary. Iran developed a cadre of highly competent electrical engineers and applied physicists almost 15 years ago, and I’m sure they have been busy.
The US never fought a near-peer adversary; I expect Iran to be such an adversary. They prepared for over 20 years for a situation like this. Unless the US and Israel have very good on-the-ground and human and military intelligence, I’m pretty sure that all nice US missiles hit empty facades and painted rocks as fake targets estimated from AI analyses of satellite images. Despite the over-the-top comments of the US Commander-in-Chief, minimal damage might be done (apart from the odd girl’s school or UNESCO World Heritage site).
In two weeks or so, when the US stocks are depleted or simply not where they are needed, Iran might be able to set the terms and negotiate at gunpoint with the Gulf states to develop a new security architecture that involves neither the US nor Israel nor the West in general.
The BRICS and the whole Global South will applaud this.
Empires are not defeated; they self-destruct through irrationality, unrealistic expectations, and belief in their own propaganda.
