CLOUD HARD ASSETS DOES IT AGAIN: 2020 Silver Eagles At $4.95 Over Spot

With Silver Eagle premiums continuing to trend lower of the past several months, one dealer is now offering one of the lowest prices in the market.  Dan at CLOUD HARD ASSETS just emailed me a little while ago to let me know that they reduced their premiums on 2020 Silver Eagles to only $4.95 over spot.  Compared to the leading online dealers, this is one heck of a deal.

Not only is Cloud Hard Assets offering a low premium for its Silver Eagles, but they have also been doing so for the past six months.  I have kept a meticulous spreadsheet on the different 2020 Silver Eagle prices from four leading online dealers versus Cloud Hard Assets, and they continue to provide the best prices.

With the silver spot price at $27.21, here are the four leading online dealers 2020 Silver Eagle prices (based on 20-99 coins) versus Cloud Hard Assets.

As I have stated before, I find it amazing that the highest Silver Eagle price shown in the chart above comes from one of the largest online dealers who is also a direct Authorized Purchaser from the U.S. Mint.  You would think this dealer would be offering better prices to their clients, but I gather not.

Now, some dealers have offered a low 2020 Silver Eagle price, but that was during a SALES PROMO for a day or so.  Cloud Hard Assets prices have been EVERYDAY LOW PRICES.  For example, here are the 2020 Silver Eagle premiums for August based on the average from the leading four competitors’ versus Cloud Hard Assets.

We can see back in early August; Cloud Hard Assets 2020 Silver Eagle premiums were 16% lower than the average from the four leading competitors.  Investors who used Cloud Hard Assets services to purchase Silver Eagles saved a lot of money, and several SRSrocco Report followers provided positive comments letting us know that they did take advantage of the low prices.

There is a reason that I only SPONSOR Cloud Hard Assets on my website.  They are by far one of the most upfront and honest dealers I know who also provide excellent prices and services.  As I have stated, Cloud Hard Assets puts their clients’ funds in an ESCROW ACCOUNT until the metal is shipped.  So, clients do not have to worry about the safety of their funds if the metal is not available.  Most dealers do not provide this excellent service.

Furthermore, Cloud Hard Assets provides one of the lowest STORAGE SERVICES in the industry.  I challenge anyone interested in storing metal to contact Tom Cloud or Dan and compare storage fees.

Tom Cloud has been in the precious metals business for 46 years, since 1973.  He has a lot of experience in the precious metals industry and understands the gold and silver market better than most dealers in the industry.

Premiums may be as big of a manipulation as paper shorts in all honesty.
Imagine A stock that was $100 that if you were to buy it and sell it again the next day at the same price and you would have lost at least half the amount of the stock. Not even including shipping, storage, your time and in some places VAT.

We’re at the point we’ve been conditioned to where 25% is a good deal.

    • Billy Lone Bear,

While the Silver Eagle premiums are high, they are high for a reason.

First, the U.S. Mint charges $2.00 over spot for each coin. So, if the Silver spot price is $20.00, you can add right off the top 10% premium on the cost of the Silver Eagle before the Wholesaler and Retailer add their profit. It’s only fair that wholesalers and retailers make a PROFIT… NO???

Secondly, because the Silver Eagle is the most sought after coin, it drives a higher premium. And, then when you add surging demand, it becomes SUPPLY & DEMAND forces that pushes its premium higher than other official coins.

And as the US Mint production catches up with demand we will see premiums decline…if that happens, because demand can ramp up much faster than produced & distributed supply.

  3. C O T Tuesday.
Again. Have and will keep right on saying, Tuesday is almost always a fantastic day to add Phyzz PM’s, frequently you can see the low for the week on a Tuesday morning…. Doesn’t hurt to plan for it. At the same time, I’m thinking Forest Management in California should have been a much higher priority than banning plastic straws…..yet not all think the way I do.

    • Excellent comment 4 ouncer……. and as far as Californians, I don’t believe they have the common sense that Steve’s readers do. Ninety-nine percent of the articles I read, I just shake my head in disbelief at the lack of brains out there.
